The Bruised Edge is a personal blog. It’s not intended to be a formal space with any great wisdom, but just an informal place in which I can document my experiments with various hobbies.

I use the word experiments because I read once that one doesn’t have to be good at their hobbies. I like this idea, in part, because I have a lot of hobbies that I’m sure will never rise above the level of simple, fun, learning exercises. But, that’s okay! As Ralph Waldo Emerson said, “Life is a journey, not a destination.”
